The Sustainability Committee Meeting in August will focus on Green Finance and Carbon Credits.
This event aims to provide valuable insights into how green finance and carbon credits can drive sustainable initiatives. We have invited Marla Garin-Alvarez, Vice President & Head, Sustainability Office at BDO Unibank Inc. - Philippines, to discuss BDO Unibank's initiatives in green finance, share insights into carbon credits and their role in sustainable finance, and present real-world examples through case studies of successful green finance projects. Meanwhile, Anders Haagen, Co-Founder and Chairman of Lionheart Agrotech Limited (Parent of Lionheart Farms), will discuss feasibility studies in sustainable agriculture and finance, highlight Lionheart Farms' sustainability initiatives and their impact, provide an overview of the Coconut Carbon Credit Offer, and explain the benefits of carbon securitization.
The event will take place on 28 August 2024 (Wednesday) from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Narra Hall, BDO Valero Towers. This event presents an excellent opportunity for businesses and organizations to deepen their understanding of green finance, explore practical strategies for implementing sustainable finance initiatives, and connect with industry leaders dedicated to advancing sustainability.
