The upcoming Sustainability Committee Meeting will shed light on the importance of collaboration with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to support vulnerable children.
Within the Philippine context, the collaboration between NGOs plays a vital role in addressing the complex needs and challenges faced by the marginalized group. These collaborative efforts involve multiple NGOs working together towards a common objective of enhancing the well-being and rights of children, ensuring their access to education, healthcare, shelter, and protection.
By establishing networks and forging partnerships, NGOs are able to pool their resources, expertise, and knowledge, thereby magnifying the impact of their programs and services. These collaborative endeavors encompass various activities, including advocacy, providing comprehensive support services, prioritizing prevention and early intervention, conducting research and data sharing, responding to emergencies, and focusing on capacity building. Through these combined efforts, NGOs create a more comprehensive and sustainable support system, amplifying their influence and positively transforming the lives of vulnerable children across the entire country.
Distinguished speakers include Ms. Laura Baptiste, Partnership & Fundraising – Global Operations at Life Project 4 Youth Alliance, Ms. Dina Osabel, International Freight Forwarding Operator at Bollore, and Mr. Admore Alzate, Head of Corporate Relations at SOS Children's Villages Philippines.
