Finland was just named the world's happiest country in the same year that its capital, Helsinki, earned the title of the best city for work-life balance.
Norway has gained bragging rights as the second-most productive country in the world.
And Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and Finland are ranked in the top four, respectively, for most gender-equal countries.

The Nordic Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines is proud to bring Work the Nordic Way, which was started by the Nordic Chamber of Commerce Vietnam, to Manila on a virtual stage for the first time on 23 October 2021. The event will showcase approaches Nordic businesses adopt that help them stand out in terms of company culture.

Work the Nordic Way is a two-component event. The first being a conference with speakers and panelists sharing their experiences working in the Nordics and the Philippines with a Nordic mindset.

The second component of the event is where companies will take part by setting up virtual booths to present their company culture, products, or services and what it would be like to be part of their team. Expected to attend the event are professionals, students, alumni from both the Nordics and the Philippines.

This event is supported by the Embassy of Finland, Embassy of Sweden, Royal Danish Embassy, and Royal Norwegian Embassy in Manila. We have even partnered with John Clements Consultants, Inc., Q2 HR Solutions, AIESEC Philippines, DLSU Business Management Society, and universities. Sponsors include BDO Unibank, Inc., International Workplace Group (IWG) and Retail Associates.
