In light of increasing activity and international attention for Offshore Wind in the Philippines, NIRAS, Global Wind Energy Council, Danish Embassy and the Nordic Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines are excited to extend an invitation for a comprehensive Philippines Wind Energy Forum on June 14th, 2024. This daylong event will include direct input and information from key players in both the private and public sectors' valuable to an array of industry stakeholders.

Starting with an update on the status of Offshore Wind development in the Philippines from selected resource speakers from public and private stakeholders. The workshop will be part of the continuing discussion towards building a successful and sustainable Offshore Wind industry in the Philippines. Discussions will include updates regarding the Permitting and Consenting project of Energy Transition Partnership and Department of Energy, highlight topics across the project lifecycle for Offshore Wind projects including insights on Environment processes and Technical aspects. In the afternoon, participants will hear from H.E. Franz-Michael Skjold Mellbin, Ambassador of Denmark to the Philippines and Palau regarding Jobs4RE program updates and other different NIRAS partners in relation to ongoing training and upskilling efforts in the Philippines.

The workshop will also include specific project updates and accompanying panel discussions from international and domestic project owners active in the Philippines, as well as designated periods for networking and personal discussion.
