This half-day interactive workshop aims to equip talent acquisition professionals with insights on employer branding best practices and how they can help create better candidate and employee experiences.
1. The Evolution of the HR Role
Because the landscape of business has changed, the role of people managers has
also evolved. We will discover the changing role of HR in organizations- from transactional to transformational work and from administrative goals to strategic goals. We will also map out key challenges in talent acquisition that led to considering the employer brand.
2. The Candidate Experience
The interview is only one part of the applicant's experience. There are many other ways in which our applicants interact with our company (e.g., our career portal, job fairs, assessment process, etc.). How effective are we on each of these applicant touchpoints? We will look into each of these interaction points and evaluate our level of effectiveness across each one as it relates to building a strong employer brand.

Anj is the CEO and Founder of TalentView, an employer branding firm with operations across the ASEAN region. She has over 15 years of experience in designing human capital strategies, implementing HR technology platforms and is also the author of the HR book, 'Rethink Recruitment.'
Beginning her career in talent acquisition, Anj saw the need to think differently to tackle everyday people management issues by establishing stronger relationships across the talent lifecycle and refocusing value towards effective employer branding strategy, design, and technology.
Anj has been invited to speak at several conferences on the topic of employer branding and talent experience, including the HR Tech Tank in Hong Kong, the Happiness at Work Summit in Vietnam, and Recruitment Asia in Malaysia. Her insights on talent branding and talent management have also been featured on ANC and on publications such as Inc. Magazine. She is also a Udemy facilitator for the course 'Becoming a World-Class Employer Branding Professional,' which is the highest-rated course on this topic in the Udemy Platform.
