The Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands (The CHAMBER) has the pleasure to invite you to the 2nd Open Discourse on The CHAMBER Connects with SILICON VALLEY at the Jade Function Room, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Ortigas Avenue corner Asian Development Bank Avenue, 4225 Quezon City on Wednesday, February 28 at 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
With the quantum leap in progress of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the world of technology, are we ready to be controlled by machines or can we co-exist with them in the process? Is the threat to replace humans imminent? How would it affect human society? What are the opportunities and potential problems presented? What are the extents and limits of its usage? Will AI necessarily improve the quality of human life? How would developments in AI impact the Philippine business environment? Are the government and the business sectors prepared to cope with possible job losses due to automation?
Join us, as we have invited Philippines pride in Silicon Valley Fil-tech Icon, Diosdado "Dado" Banatao, entrepreneur and venture capitalist who co-founded technology start-ups that include Chips and Technologies, S3 Graphics, SiRF, Marvel, and Inphi, among others. He is best known for pioneering two technologies that are widely regarded as the cornerstones of today's PC: chipset and graphic acceleration architecture.
