The Sustainability Committee Meeting in February will delve into the topic of Sustainable Supply Chain.
Edward Marcel Gacusana, Executive Director of Global Compact Network Philippines (GCNP), will delve into the implementation of the Ten Principles outlined by the UN Global Compact, emphasizing their role as guiding pillars for ensuring ethical practices, upholding human rights, and protecting the environment throughout supply chains. Specifically, we will explore how these Principles can be utilized to ensure sustainable supply chains, aligning with the UN Global Compact's five priority areas of action that accelerate progress across all 17 SDGs.
Kevin Tesoro, Sales and Environmental Manager of Filtra Timber, will discuss the carbon emissions of different construction materials, including wood. He will also cover forest certifications available in the market and Filtra Timber's journey to the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) Chain of Custody Certified.

Requirements: Individuals should hold a leadership role with sustainability responsibilities or have a strong interest in sustainability.
