In a recent breakthrough earlier this June however, the National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories (NEIDL) at Boston University and Signify (formerly known as Philips Lighting) have validated the effectiveness of Signify's UV-C light sources on the inactivation of SARS-CoV-2.
