A career professional with more than 20 years of experience in Supply Chain, Category Management, Contracting and Procurement including end-to-end Requisition to Pay (RTP) systems and processes gained from multinational corporations.

Started as a Senior Purchasing Officer from Johnson & Johnson (Phils.), Inc. In charge of all imported raw materials. Eventually led a team of Supply Management Analyst for the Woman’s Health and Oral Care Business of the Company as an Associate Supply Manager. The responsibility included production planning, purchasing of both local and imported raw and packaging materials, optimizing plant efficiencies and, process re-engineering.

Transferred to Pilipinas Shell in 2002 as a Supply Chain Manager as for Retail, Commercial business and Corporate Functions. Held a range of purchasing responsibilities through the years such as regional Procurement Manager for East Asia and Oceana and Logistics Lead for Asia. In 2008, assumed the role of the Country Process Lead for Requisition-to-Pay in Pilipinas Shell’s biggest ERP implementation to date. In 2017, led a team of 9 Process Expert covering Asia Pacific Shell entities as a Procurement Systems and Process Lead leading to a successfully roll out the Sharp (Shell-Ariba Procurement) project for the East region.

Currently holding the position of Global Vice President of Supply Chain for Amber Kinetics Phils., Inc. since 2018. This role requires to lead the team to deliver increased value (assured supply that meets stringent quality standards, lower costs, lower Total Cost of Ownership, speed to market and innovation) through leveraging the Company’s third party spend. Primarily responsible for identifying and defining category spend, developing framework agreements where strategically appropriate, and managing key supplier relationships and contracts as well as providing an agile expansion plan to support the Company’s ambitious growth trajectory.

In 2015, started advocacy work in PISM as a Board of Trustee with increasing responsibility. As the Vice President for Professional Development Center (PDC) in 2017-2018, PDC achieved its best revenue results by ensuring focus and discipline in delivering value-adding seminars through a supportive and talented team of facilitators and trainers. Currently serving as the President of the Association for 2019-2020.

CJ has been the recipient of various local and regional recognitions since 2010. He reinstated Mondelez’ Super Green Lane status in the same year and paved the way to process lead time reduction and cost savings. He managed various 3PL and ocean freight transitions in South East Asia and staged the first ever One South East Asia Productivity Summit held in Malaysia which delivered $2.4M in savings.
He served as the National Executive Director of the National Accredited Professional Organization for Customs Brokers – CCBI and held various leadership positions. As a subject matter expert, he has attended several ASEAN and APEC Summits since 2009.
CJ was the 1st placer in the 2005 National Customs Brokers Licensure Examination and “Competent Toast Master” by Toast Masters International in 2007.
Currently, he is the Transformation Lead of Mondelez International, Founding Trustee and Chairman / President of Super Green Lane Association of the Philippines and one of our very own PISM Board of Trustee for Events and Conferences.

CHARMAINE C. ABUEVA is currently the Director for Supply Chain Management which includes Customer Account Management, Material, Production Planning and Control, Procurement and Logistics at Pascual Laboratories. She is also PISM’s Trustee for Professional Development Center.

She has over 20 years of work experience in Production Planning and Inventory Management, Logistics, Demand and Supply Planning, Customer Service and other functions across the Supply Chain in both local and multinational companies such as Nestle, Kraft Foods, Avon, Del Monte and Tan Hiep Phat (THP) Vietnam.

Further, Charmaine is one of PISM’s accredited Facilitators for In-house and Public seminars as well as for the Diploma program offered at La Salle.

More than 10 years of Supply Chain Professional experience in different industries such as Paper Manufacturing, Shared Services, HealthCare, FMCG and E-Commerce entities, focusing on the Supply and Demand Planning Management, Importation and Exportation, Procurement, Production Operations, Warehousing and Distribution handling in the Philippines and South East Asian Region. Currently the Head of Supply Chain Operations of GrowSari, handling end-to-end Supply Chain Management operations and Logistics operations creating the future of Sari-Sari Store in the Philippines. Ginger is also a PISM Accredited Professor at the Jose Rizal University and at the University of Makati and a Certified Purchasing Professional.

Hiram Dino Gomez currently manages the Supply Chain of the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) in 15 countries. He has worked for San Miguel Corporation and Intel Technology in his 20 year stint in Supply Chain Management.

Mr. Gomez completed his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at UP Diliman and Masters at the Asian Institute of Management and a PhD Candidate in Environmental Science at the UP Los Banos. He also finished the Negotiations Program at Harvard Law School and Supply Chain Management Program at MIT Sloan.

Mr. Gomez is a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) obtained from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) and he’s PRINCE2 Certified in Project Management.
