Our Climate Impact: Mitigating Climate Change Through Powering Sustainability is happening on 16 November 2022, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, via Zoom.
SN Aboitiz Power together with NordCham Philippines, highlights the urgency and importance of taking serious actions to address the continuous rise and acceleration of climate change. Through "Our Climate Impact: Mitigating Climate Change Through Powering Sustainability," the 9th leg of the SNAP Conversations aims to underscore the risks and threats associated with climate change. Moreover, it explores the roles of every individual in climate change adaptation, mitigation, and management. Further, the forum seeks to support businesses in their initiatives of lowering their carbon footprints by providing practical insights and methods in conducting carbon emissions calculations.
The first session, Introduction to Climate Change Impacts, Vulnerability, and Resilience, provides an understanding of disaster risk, management, and its impacts to businesses and households.
The second session, Climate Change Adaptation, Mitigation, and Management, equips the audience with ideas and insights on how this global crisis can be managed and addressed.
The last session, Calculating GHG Emissions, offers practical guidance and methods on how companies can respond to climate change through regular, comprehensive, and effective calculations of their carbon emissions.
An open forum at the end of the sessions will be dedicated to address questions from the audience.

The non-power components such as dams, reservoirs, and spillways are owned, managed, and operated by the government.
