The objective of this webinar is to enable small to medium size organizations to optimize their procurement and inventory control processes using the latest features of the standard Excel Optimization add-ins.

This webinar addresses the need of "optimizing" or "maximizing" current procurement processes, including the capability of "optimizing" schedules subject to "defined" and other constraints based on prevailing organization policies.

Participants will be introduced to four scenario models that provide practical and industry-practiced examples for users within organizations tasked to manage its procurement activities, alongside inventory control and management.

- supply of goods to facilities in many locations/ destinations

- inventory stocking/ reordering according to a defined Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model

- advertising cost model based on a defined degree of reach or frequency.

- transport cost model from various locations to different plants/ warehouses

Actual demonstrations will be presented to show the effectiveness of using advanced analytics in MS Excel, such as optimization features. Provisions for "scaling-up" to thousands of variables and constraints can also be demonstrated, based on the trial version of the optimizer.
