As should now be common knowledge, especially with all the developments late last year, the renewable energy (RE) sector is open to fullforeign ownership. This is piquing the interest of both Asian neighbors and the rest of the world whose expertise lie in the sector. It's amassive opportunity as the Philippine geography seems designed for further renewable energy exploration — solar, wind, offshore wind,among others. So, what exactly is next?

Our forum invites a key representative of the Department of Energy to discuss the overall status: of the new legislation, research anddevelopment of new technologies, and targets of the department. This will culminate in informing the private entities, both local andforeign, how they can work with the government and what the Filipino can expect with these changes.
