The past few months have exhibited the evolution of the COVID-19 outbreak into an international health crisis. In response to this, countries have imposed travel restrictions, implemented lockdowns, and conducted mass testings, among other measures. In the Philippines, we have witnessed a number of private sector initiatives that complement the government's efforts in this plight. As the country continues to fight against the socio-economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, there becomes an increasing need for strengthened stakeholder support and collaboration.

It is in this context that the ECCP, together with NordCham, is organizing a Special COVID-19 Webinar entitled "Rebuilding the Socio- Economic Sphere in the Post-COVID Scenario", on 01 June 2020. Join us as we hear from Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, the Philippine government's socio-economic programs and initiatives, support measures for the private sector, and other plans and priorities in light of the pandemic.
