In the first edition of the KMC x NordCham Philippines Knowledge-Sharing Series, we are excited to have Jun Abo, VP Talent Acquisition at Transcom lead us through the topic: Recruitment Digital Transformation: from Talent Acquisition to Cognitive Recruiters.


The Knowledge-Sharing Series brings together thought leaders from different industries, providing global learning in the local context. Jun Abo is a veteran of the War for Talent. His tour of duty includes hunting purple squirrels for professional services firms like Punongbayan & Araullo and KPMG; and recruiting armies of talented individuals for BPOs and Contact Centers. He is currently in the front-lines of the recruitment digitisation revolution championing the use of AI, machine learning and other forward thinking technologies that enable HR to match the right talent with the right opportunity.


Jun graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce Major in Accountancy at the University of Sto. Tomas but ended up working in Human Resources because he'd rather deal with real live people instead of accounting books and ledgers.
